This new serial is going to be telecast in MAA TV.
That is the reason why I stepped into this field and taking this forward as a movement. Those serials are being dubbed and sent back to us. The Mumbai and Chennai people are using my film stories to make serials. It was me who brought the recognition to Telugu serials from that of dubbing ones. ‘Abhishekam’ serial under our banner has completed 450 episodes. After that serial my wife started to encourage me to make more serials. After those serials I made a serial titled ‘Vishwamitra’ and that serial too got good response. People started to cherish serials from the time of Ramayana and Mahabharat. And now we are going to make the serial with the same title. The film collected of Rs 28 lakhs and created a record during that period only. On that occasion Kannada Kanteerava Rajkumar made his presence felt. In 1975 that film was screened for 62 weeks at Sabita theater in Mysore. ‘Sivaranjani’ was the first film under our banner Taraka Prabhu Films.
Almost all my films have atleast one song in this raagam. Later addressing the gathering Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I always like the name or raagam Sivaranjani. The event was attended by Dr Dasari Narayana Rao, Smt Dasari Padma, MAA president Murali Mohan, Sarath Marar, Ramakrishna Prasad, Hemalaya Kumari, Kinnera, Narasimha Raju, Madhava Peddi Suresh, Satyam Naidu, Bharani, Hariteja, etc. The launching ceremony took place today at Taj Banjara Hotel. In this program, celebrities touch the heart of their favourite co-celebrity with an exoti. Dr Dasari Narayana Rao launched a TV serial titled ‘Sivaranjani’ under his home banner Sowbaghya Media banner. It is said that the way to a mans heart is through the stomach.
